Josh – A Senior – Portland OR Photographer

DSC_0006 starburst b and w copy - Copy

We had such a great time with Josh on his photo shoot in Portland’s Pearl District. Josh will be graduating from Vancouver Christian High School next June. It was a privilege to get to take Josh’s pictures, and it has been an even bigger privilege to watch him grow up. We are both proud of you, and wish you all the best in your last year of high school.

DSC_0017We fell in love with these older semi-abandoned buildings, and were so happy we were able to use them in Josh’s shoot.

Our next stop was the Broadway Bridge!DSC_0032 color pop copy - CopyDSC_0059DSC_0054 copyDSC_0064 copyThe next few shots are some of our favorites. I love the different textures, and thought the setting played well with Josh’s style.

My favorite shot of the whole shoot!!

DSC_0130 copyWe had also found the next location awhile back, and thought Josh was the perfect senior to try it out with.

St. Johns Bridge in January – Portland, OR Photographer

This past January I took some pictures of the St. Johns Bridge, and I finally got around to editing some of this over this past week. So, I thought I’d put them up for you to enjoy. I saw pictures of this bridge in our Youth pastors office, and decided that I had to go and take some of my own. It’s a beautiful bridge. Because of our topography here in the Northwest, in some places bridges have to be magnificent. And to think, they were going to tear this one down.

These shots are great…and that bridge…wow! They were going to tear it down??

Henry Reed: Look at those Teeth! – Toddler Portraits, Vancouver WA, Photographer

Time passes so quickly when you have children. It seems as though just yesterday our little boy was a tiny baby. As we see our little man growing and changing, it is hard to not just follow him around with the camera…attempting to capture as many special moments as possible. On a recent sunny afternoon, I took Henry out to play, and caught these precious smiles on camera. I love his big “toothy” grin and his happy spirit. Henry truly is the happiest child I have ever known. We are blessed by him daily.
