We were so honored to be able to spend the day with Olivia and Patrick. It was a blessing to see the love surrounding them that day, not only from each other, but from their families. These two have a special kind of love, and we wish them all the happiness in the world.

It was a pleasure to be with Olivia as she was getting ready for her day. True to form, she was all smiles, and her inner beauty was reflected in her obvious outer beauty.
Not only did Olivia look gorgeous as the bride, but she also did her own flowers!! They were amazing, (just as she was for doing them!)
Olivia chose to get married at her Aunt and Uncle’s home. It was such a gorgeous location, and the perfect spot for a wedding!
Their amazing work in the yard provided for some amazing shots!
We had a lot of fun with the wedding party too…lots of laughs were had!

Every great wedding is followed up by a great reception, and Olivia and Patrick knew how to throw a party!

We recently had the privilege of getting to shoot our cousin Olivia and her fiance Patrick’s engagement pictures. Since they live in Alaska, this was our first time meeting Patrick. We knew right away that he was going to fit right in, and it was clear to see that Olivia had chosen the right man for her. We headed down to Marine Park in Vancouver, and literally wrapped up our shoot just seconds before the rain started to pour! The overcast weather however, made for some lovely photos. We are so happy for Olivia and Patrick, and wish them all the best in their upcoming marriage!

We had the honor and privilege of assisting our brother and sister in law of Carpenter Photography and Design in Indiana at our cousin Stephanie’s wedding. What a joy the day was! It was so neat to be able to experience the day with John and Stephanie, and to see their love for each other. David and I also were thrilled to be able to shadow Jeremy and Melody on this wedding shoot, as their work is amazing. It was a great chance for David and I to grow and learn as photographers.
It was so much fun to share in John and Stephanie’s big day.This shot was taken just minutes after their first meeting. How cute are they?!
These girls were tons of fun. We caught them all sneaking a peek at the guys as they were having their pictures taken.
The next picture has become a family favorite. This is “Grandpa Shinn”, and this shot captures him so well.
